Pinchot University participates with federal, state and private agencies to make financial aid programs available to students. Financial assistance awarded through Pinchot University may consist of a combination of institutional scholarships and grants, federal and private loans and part-time work-study opportunities for those who qualify.

Financial aid opportunities

The first step toward financing your education is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Pinchot Student Financial Records Form. The basic eligibility requirements are listed below. Students who wish to apply for financial assistance are required to complete both forms.

Federal Student Loans

Pinchot University students may qualify to borrow up to their total cost of attendance per year through the federal student loan program.

Federal Work Study Program

Our work-study program offers students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while earning money for graduate school. Students can enhance their current learning as well as their future professional prospects by integrating classroom concepts with real-world work experience. Work study opportunities are limited and can be requested upon enrollment.

The basic eligibility requirements for financial aid are as follows:

Pinchot Institutional Requirements

  • Enrolled at least half-time in one of the following programs:
    • MBA in Sustainable Business
    • MBA in Sustainable Systems
    • Certificate in Sustainable Energy Solutions
  • Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (new students automatically meet this requirement)
  • Not currently receiving full tuition reimbursement. (If you are eligible to receive partial corporate tuition reimbursement, you may still apply. However, your award may be reduced proportionately.)

Federal Requirements

  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Be registered with Selective Service if required; in general, if you are male age 18 through 25.
  • Certify that you are not in default on a federal loan or owe money on a federal grant.
  • Certify that you will use federal student aid only for educational purposes.
  • Certify that you were not convicted for a drug offense that occurred while you were enrolled in school and receiving federal student aid.
